Canaccord Vice President and Senior Investment Advisor Daryl Rebeck leads our wealth management group from Canaccord's head office in Vancouver, British Columbia. His high net worth clientele includes some of Canada's wealthiest individuals, including large private foundations and family trusts. As one of the firm's largest private wealth managers, Daryl regularly provides advice on equity syndication, private placements, and short-form prospectus offerings on Canadian, American and European public markets, raising well over $29 million in 2007.

Daryl's career got off to a sweet start. He joined Hershey Foods Canada in Winnipeg after studying business and finance at the University of Manitoba and Red River College. He was given responsibility for Hershey's accounts in Western Saskatchewan, where he quickly broke all company sales records for the territory. He was then promoted to the Vancouver office, and managed large key accounts in the lower mainland.

Since joining Canaccord, he has built our group's wealth management practice into one of the firm's largest, providing financial planning and portfolio investment advice on stocks and bonds, as well as hedge vehicles, options and derivatives. Daryl was one of the youngest vice presidents ever to be appointed in Canaccord's 56-year history.

Daryl and his wife make their home in West Vancouver and spend their quiet time at the cottage on the Sunshine Coast. Daryl enjoys boating, golfing and playing defence for Canaccord's hockey team, a hobby that allows him to use the skills he honed playing competitive hockey in Manitoba.
